A £30 deposit is required on booking, the balance is due on day of shoot

Newborn sessions should ideally be booked in advance of baby's arrival, and can be booked at any time after your first scan. Don't worry if your baby is born early or late, I just note your due date as a rough guide and then we arrange the shoot when your little one arrives.

However if you only decide on a shoot after the baby is here, please get in touch to see if I have any space free and I will try my best to accommodate you. 

To obtain the best results the session should take place between 5 and 21 days of age;  I do still accept babies over this but you may find the baby is less sleepy. Wrapping is a technique I use to help settle them and lull them into sleep.

Newborn sessions take place in the comfort of your own home so that you have everything you need to hand and can relax and enjoy the session. I will bring a selection of props and backdrops to use, if you have seen anything on my images that you would like me to bring, or any particular colour scheme, please let me know in advance. 

Newborn sessions can take anything from 2-4 hours depending on how settled the baby is. The whole session is led by the baby with their comfort and safety the priority at all times. I have been trained in newborn posing and safety  so you can be sure your little one will be handled with care.

Parent and sibling shots can be incorporated into a newborn shoot at no extra charge.
